Guest guest
The more I learn, the more I think that rages are from toxins from foods. I think that our kids are not producing the enzymes to break down the amino acids correctly. My girl reacts more strongly to foods than anything else. I can't believe it has taken me this long to figure it out. She can not tolerate dairy, flours, potatoes for starters. Her moods are all over the place, going from happy to angry and back. I also need to up her Vitamin D. She really isn't on much, and I recently been seeing posts that Vitamin D can regulate the neurotransmitters. Melatonin helps her, and I only have her on 1mg. So, there is much more I can be doing. I recently read that Melatonin, Vitamin C and E can do wonders. She is only on small doses, so there is room for improvement. I do think that the pathogens and other toxins are behind why our kids are not metabolizing their food correctly. Even genetics are likely playing a role. But, until they are well, we need to really focus on their diet. Look for patterns, such as every time there is an increase in aggression, see what was eaten recently. I have heard good things about the low oxalate diet, but also look into the PKU diet and PKU testing. If your child has an odd smell to skin or urine, it's definitely worth taking the time to do genetic PKU or other genetic metabolic testing. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > > > Here at ER they drew blood to check ammonia level and came back low normal 13. Only started P5P here at ER. They don't want to release him to me. Will be on 72 hour hold for psych meds. I am grieving right now. I have not even given the AKG yet. > > Fransel > > >
