Guest guest
Every health practitioner has their own style. Usually, Bartonella is killed either before or simultaneously with Lyme. I found that taking several things that support the body from different angles helps. You want the digestion flowing smoothly, the liver supported, many nutrients supplemented because the body needs many things to work correctly. Any disruption can cause significant problems. Then, you want to help mop up toxins as well. So, it's a lot. Since we didn't use a lot of antibiotics, I am not familiar with what to do for die-off from antibiotics, but have heard it can be harsh. I heard one popular lyme nurse practitioner say she uses cod liver oil. For us, we use Modifilan, Goji, homeopathic things, Mellatonin, turmeric, and Mitochondrial Restore. We have used more things as well. See the files section for binders and stuff for more ideas. I hope your doc has some ideas. I know a lot of LLMD's say to just " push through " but that is referring mostly to adults. I don't think it's a good idea to take that attitude with children with autism. They are pretty fragile already. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > Heidi and Listmates, > What do you use for die-offs? We will be starting ABX on Tuesday for lyme.
