Hi,

My daughter is 12 and I was told to give her half tea spoon

everyday,But I now I can only give just a little pinch( 1 tenth of the dose)

because she is reacting with swollen joints and cant move from bed.

Even with that amount I have seen an improvement in speech like

puuting more words together in a sentecnce and more willing to talk,

I hope that helps,

talya

Talya,

I also recently started taking the Mimosa pudica, but so far no any reactions,

although it has been only 1 week since I started. I take it only twice per

week, twice daily, did you get the same instructions? Eventually I should go up

with the dose to taking it every day, but with kids it stays only twice per

week, at least we got these instructions (my son is 6 years old and weighs 38

pounds).

I hope it helps with speech for my son as well, since right now this is our

biggest problem. Was your daughter verbal prior to taking the Mimosa pudica and

in what ways her speech got better?

I am forwarding this interesting news.

Met this company, http://www.aspiritech.org/

two weeks ago at the Chicago Tech Week conference.I was quite amazed, as two

doctors have created a company for technology quality assurance (testing) of

applications and software. With many of these jobs going overseas, this company

was formed to leverage the talents of autistic professionals and over a short

period of time, have created a very interesting business model similar to other

near shore organizations. Their employees work off-site at their Highland Park

location and clients utilize theirs services at a heavily discounted rate.

Because many of their employees cant be on-site due to social interaction

issues, they are put into a safe haven of sorts at their office and monitored

closely by doctors and staff. The results have been quite astounding and their

employee are extremely productive with singular tasks. Over the past year, they

have hired more than 50 highly technical associates and received hundreds of

thousands of resumes and inquiries from around the world. Its sort of a new

concept, however it appears to be quite successful and we are entertaining

using a few of their staff members for upcoming tests as a trial. Assuming it

goes well, we would use them for staff augmentation on future projects.Thought

you would enjoy.
