Guest guest
Yes, my EMG study was normal yet I have nerve damage in my left leg (which is definately not coming from my brain). I have heard many in this group say there's were normal as well. Dee To: tetheredspinalcord From: lilacs007@... My leg pain and numbness started last year in May, however I just had an EMG to see what is going on with my legs and arms. I had the EMG yesterday and because it was performed by physicians they gave me the results- normal, no issues at all. They are stating that this means my issues are coming from the brain. Anyone else have this issue. My legs and arms/hands will go numb for hours, and yet everything looks perfect. Thank you in advance!
Guest guest
, I have not had an EMG but I remember people on this list in the past saying that they too had " normal " results. It evidently comes from mixed signals through the damaged spinal cord. Did you get your brain MRI results?  Subject: EMG results To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 6:49 AM  I was wondering if anyone else has had " normal " EMG results. Guest guest
Oh okay, I don't remember seeing anything so I thought I would ask. Nothing on the MRI yet, although my appointment is on the 21st, I am planning on e-mailing/calling tomorrow and asking what the results are.I don't want to waste an appointment on the 21st, I am just wondering why I am having the numbness/eye/noise/muscle issues!!!
