It's a good idea, Mr Observer (may I call you Receptive?)–I hope we get some momentum going with it!D

Yeah I would be willing to set it up. I would have to try it out first before I

host an official " show. "

Alright so I've decided that I'll host the show at www.stickam.com for now. I

had an account at ustream.tv that I deleted because I didn't like my old

username. Turns out that if you delete it, then the email associated with it can

never register again. You can imagine my frustration. Of course, I can just

start a new email account but I'm not keen on doing that.

That's why I'm using stickam along with the fact that I have an old account

there. Plus, I'm more familiar in using that site than ustream.

Anyway, I'd like to get your feedback:

1) When are you available for the livestreaming show/conference? As for myself,

I'm available almost any day. Also I would prefer the conference to take place

either around 7am-12pm EST or 9pm-12am EST.

You can use this time zone converter:

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

2) How long can you stay in the show/conference? I would like it to be 1.5 to 2

hrs long.

3) Do you have any other thoughts or concerns?

Hi ,

I think it is great that you are willing to do this. The best time for me would be in the 7am-12pm EST time slot. I hope you can get this off the ground - that enough people will be able to participate, in view of the fact that we live in various time zones. Keep us posted, and thanks!

I'd certainly be interested. Two hours would probably longer than I could stick on the show but an hour would certainly be doable. Thanks Helena,

I've hosted shows like this with a group of people with social anxiety. Most of

them said that it felt like they went into a party or something like that. All

that even though much of them were very quiet, lol! I'd figure that perhaps that

immediate response might help to reinforce the ACT processes.

We'll see...

Hi - I'm glad you are trying to get this going and I support your efforts. I live in the Mountain Time Zone and would be willing to work around the schedule you decide on. I'm quite busy right now so I may not be a consistent participant. Hi ,

Is there some sort of software that transcribes audio and that is free? Beside

that, I could record a video of the show.

Tell me what you think.

Alright fellow ACTors,

Here is the site where I'll be hosting our show:

http://www.stickam.com/depecheeyes

You will need to register for a free account at the site. Afterward, make sure

to follow me by clicking on the " Follow " button at my profile.

I'm thinking of having our show every Saturday at 8am PST/11am EST. Will you be

able to make it? If not, what other day and time will be more suitable?

Just to remind everyone that there is going to be a live show/conference at

http://www.stickam.com/depecheeyes on Sat. 8am PST/11am EST. You must have a

Stickam Account, which is free.

For those not living in PST, MST, CST and EST and are curious, click the link

Now here is a GREAT example of committed ACTION!

Thanks so much .

I am busy on Saturday so I can't make it but am VERY interested in chiming in in

the future.

Great work and let's keep up the momentum!

One idea that has popped to my mind is the use of a weekly live stream show for

fellow ACTors. A live stream show is very much like a live show except that it

is done online. It usually consists of a chat room for viewers to discuss or

respond to the host's questions or comments. So it's more of an interactive show

than a presentation.

I was thinking that the live stream show would consist of:

1) the host summarizing a chapter from one Self-Help ACT workbook that we're

reading (such as GOYMIYL),

2) then viewers asking questions or expressing their response to the text while

the host or other viewers reply,

3) and then perhaps some small talk.

The show could take place in www.ustream.tv which is pretty nice. I haven't been

there for awhile though. Also, we would need to agree at what day and time would

the show take place of course. I think there is a feature in which you can

record it for others to see!

As for who can host, I can host the show since I have experience doing it before

(it was about a year ago and it was on blogtv and stickam). Of course, if any of

the professional ACTors would like to do it, I certainly wouldn't mind. ;-)

So what is your judgment of that idea? Are there any concerns you have? If you

like the idea, what do you think the " show " should be called?
