What country and what region of that country do you live in?

I was just curious; and perhaps it might drive a view lurkers from out of the

shadows? Also, you don't have to answer the second question if you don't want

to.

I live in the Northeastern Region of the USA - specifically in the state of New

York.

Hi,

I live in Armadale, a suburb of Melbourne in Australia.

I was born in England in 1948 and came to Australia in 1970 for the bargain

price of twenty pounds, thanks to their assisted passage scheme.

Of all the big changes I've made to my life over the years, coming here was the

best thing I ever did. The climate is wonderful, the people are friendly, and

the culture is rich and varied.

I'm writing this while sitting outside a cafe in Melbourne's CBD enjoying a

latte and people watching. Later, I'm going to an English-style pub for a couple

of beers while I work on a story I'm writing and do some more people watching

(to fuel my writing of course--writers need to be good observers).
