Guest guest
MRSA is a staph infection, which may not respond to Omnicef. It might be a good idea to take him to a good dermatologist who will consider infection as the cause for his rash. Is your son still taking the Omnicef? Anne M., BSN, MSN/IH, RNmcfighter@... I have an 11 year old boy who has been on the Amantadine/Acyclovir protocol since June 7. He also was put on Omnicef for 30 days because of a strep titer of 950. We are at such a loss and just don't know what to think about everything. He has what looks like eczema on his face (white splotches) and then bumps. I just looked up impetigo on the internet and then it said something about it being related to the strep infection and could be MRSA! Could someone please explain all this to me...and tell me what to do...should I take him to a dermatologist ...call Dr. etc? Also, my son went to camp for a month and got a glowing report about behavior. Now that he is home, his behavior has been awful...is this regression....is this just his normal personality in the house...I just don't know what to think...is the protocol working/not working????__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 6343 (20110802) __________The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 6343 (20110802) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 6344 (20110802) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 6344 (20110802) __________The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus.http://www.eset.com
Guest guest
There are reports that the body will use the skin to rid toxins when there are too many to rid via other routes. But, even so, it's important to know precisely what the diagnosis is by a doc, so you will know if it's an infection or a skin condition. Once you have a diagnosis, then it will be easier to plan how to treat. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > MRSA is a staph infection, which may not respond to Omnicef. Guest guest
Just wanted to mention that I saw a report about the herb Elecampane killing MRSA. See http://www.flutrackers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71167. Swanson carries it inexpensively. It also works really well for congestion.
