Guest guest
Henrik, thanks for asking. Really just sitting with the process and noticing how deliciously private and undramatic it is. Mostly now just noticing I'm alone with observations sometimes and just having that be okay without adding a bunch of stuff on top of it.Without trying to defend my experience, having it sound right, so others will agree or whatever. Learning to honor wherever I am, stand in that fully -- even (maybe especially) if my experience feels scary, lonely, unpopular, ignored by others. No drama. Saying fully yes to whatever pain is there, whatever joy is there. With no need to go further..Kind of like values, you know?Gracefully, quietly, embracing it all. That's what I meant by the drama and being my age. I'm really noticing it's so not fruitful to explain, prove, reason my way through life. As if I could anyway! My experience is what it is. End of story! It's that simple.A really new and good thing to just be with. :-)Warm Regards,TerryTo: ACT_for_the_Public ; ACT_for_the_Public Sent: Thursday, October 20, 2011 2:36 PMSubject: Re: Re: Sorry to everyone for too many posts Interesting, Terry! do you want to do it publicly? Guest guest
Thank you Terry, It sounds like a great process you're in. I can relate to: "Learning to honor wherever I am, stand in that fully -- even (maybe especially) if my experience feels scary, lonely, unpopular, ignored by others. " The pull to do the opposite that is there for me all the freaking time: do what "feels safe", trying to be a part (even at the expense of my inner hunches), trying to be popular, trying to get attention - all sounds like narcissism. The pull to act that way is enormous and also unconcious. Warm regards, Henrik Henrik, thanks for asking. Guest guest
Thanks very much Steve. This has been a very strange sort of violating feeling, rather uncomfortable and I'm scratching my head about it and also looking to see what else comes up around this here with me. (Always an opportunity!) I had several responses for Henrik in my draft folder at one point a few weeks ago, which I use as a a quasi on-line journal of sorts. I had no intention to make these private thoughts public right now, (and perhaps never), but rather as noted here, just sit with them, which is new for me these days, a very valuable process. What's really odd is I haven't gone to the draft folder for a good many days now, more than a week..so no chance I accidentally hit send on one of them yesterday. In any case, thanks much for looking into it. warm regards, terryTo: ACT_for_the_Public Sent: Wednesday, November 2, 2011 8:55 PMSubject: Re: Quiet yes to expeirience, nos and all ( was Re: Sorry to everyone for too many posts I've googled this and I see no posts on it.Could be a virus but if it was in Yahoo itself it would have posts from others about the problem.I can't find any - S C.
