Guest guest
salaamz:-)I have been working on get out of your mind and into your life, and the happiness trap, i go back and forth, and basically half way through both. I am borrowing the book, 'i feel terribly, horribly wrong' . i am never able to complete one book fully, if i try doing that, i will just be stuck and will never complete it. I wanted to get an ACT book that is very simple reading at the same time outlines act principles thoroughly. I was thinking ACT made simple. Russ 's style of writing is the easiest for me to grasp, after i understand things in his writing, i find it easier to understand get out of your mind... my question is now that Russ new book is out, does that mean some of the ACT things in the old book is outdated, i.e. newer concepts easier to grasp? e.g. russ harrris's email said <<Also, rather than following the traditional ACT framework of the hexaflex, I have based this book on the ‘three Ps’ of mindful living: Presence, Purpose and Privilege. >>>so the reality slap is the newer revision of ACT? Just like looks like now 'self as context' is no longer as much 'observing self' rather it is observer self + the ability to take another person's perspective , yea?but is The Reality Slap as much of an easy read as I heard the ACT made simple book is? plusdoes it also teach the basics of act first?also i heard a couple times people mention Goym, and goymi somethin somethin, i can't find these books on amazon for some reason . what language is that in?-K Designs.
