Hi friends,

On June 17th my son was dx'd with lyme. He was given the standard recommended dose of 100 mg 2x/day for 21 days. I was able to ask for an additional 6 weeks, but it's at the same doseage, and the rx was filled at 100 mg 2x/day. I think the lyme was dx'd right away, as he had been sick for two weeks prior and got EM rashes all over his body. Should I continue at the same doseage, or would he be better off doubling up and taking time off in between the refills? Maybe give him something else? AT LEAST she increased it to 8 weeks!

Thanks!

If its Lyme Dr Burscano recommends to continue 6 weeks past the last symptoms seen. See the www.ILADS.org website.

www.lyme-resource.comYou can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! -
