Hi all,My son, 7 yo with Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, mito, pdd-nos, etc, has been having a really rough time the last two nights. He had a great weekend camping, but got stung twice by the same bee. He's Gluten, Casein, Soy and Corn Free. We just started giving him So Delicious Coconut milk, which he's done fine on the yogurt, a tiny but of ice cream here and there and the plain coconut milk. As a treat, we bought him the chocolate this weekend. He has been crying at bedtime, unconsolably for 2 hours at a shot. He woke up at 3 to cry some more and again at 6. He will calm down for a movie, book, or music, but starts right back up when it stops. It doesn't seem as manic/anxious as his bartonella herxes, where he gets very hyper/impulsive and frantic, he's just incredibly sad, and can't say why. Any thoughts from all you smart mamas and papas out there? Have bee stings caused herxes in your little ones? Anyone have reactions to So Delicious Coconut milk? Any other thoughts? I gave him a 3 mg tablet of melatonin tonight, put on a cd of a children's book read-along to distract him, and he was out cold within 15 minutes. I don't know what to think or do. Has anyone had luck with melatonin? Any side effects I should be concerned about?Thank you very much,
