Beat the Odds Drumming Circle

Dear Friends,

If you are in the Southern California area I invite you to come to the Beat the Odds Drumming Circle. I have been researching the benefits for drum circles and autism and found some amazing things. So I decided to become a trained facilitator and am excited to offer this 8 class series. Each class is 1 hour and goes from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Beat the Odds is an evidence based program. UCLA researchers have shown that Beat the Odds can significantly improve a spectrum of behavior problems in children, such as inattention, withdrawn/depression, post traumatic stress, anxiety, attention deficit/hyperactivity, oppositional defiance, and sluggish cognitive tempo.This is NOT a drum class but a social and emotional skill building class delivered in a framework of drumming. Every effort will be made to provide neurotypical peers with gentle hearts to assist the social aspects even more.Class series: $80 - please pay in advance to reserve your spot.
