Guest guest
Hello and safe housing for everyone,I had a very good experience with a few BBB mattress toppers (their type of Temperpedic did not bother me or my sensitivity); I cover each one with a mite barrier of any type, also with mattress pad moisture protectors against mold and yuck formation. The stacks can slip a little but are easy to roll and move; more layers can be added; always look for BBB clearance sales for great deals. Quartz space heaters are extremely effective and affordable in winter. Cork (even untreated pieces staplegunned to the undersides of the beds, tables, whereever one can afford and affix) is known to be an effective remover of EMFs and "bad energy," says my acupuncturist, a Feng Shui expert who is also very into hard science. AFM company can recommend antimicrobial sealers over painted walls, nontoxic. Avoid 's new paint line at all costs, many complaints; see Debra Lynn Dadd's site and data on all the above for extra backup info. Nontoxic linoleum and cork can be affordable and very good looking if the right brand is chosen and nontoxic adhesive is used. To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Tue, September 6, 2011 1:27:49 AMSubject: Bedding Ok....everyone is getting new beds with NO metal. Does anyone have any experience with the Sealy/Serta/ "temperpedic" type beds? Not getting latex, and plan to outgas them for at least a week. They are comfy and new "technology" prevents them from becoming to warm to sleep in, but.....wondering if they will get raunchy and how toxic they might be. good mattress cover is a no brainer. I have a script for an organic bed for my little one and going to see what the options are. Also....in the NO VOC paint department, anyone used any with antimicrobials? And favorite floorings/finishes. gotta figure out what i want to do with the playroom that is garage/ground level. kinda thinking of just painting and throwing a cheap natural rug down, which might make the room chilly in the winter. hubby isn't wild about this idea. tia, lisa
Guest guest
Hi, I might be able to help. I just researched mattresses for two weeks. I found Land and Sky has really good mattresses with no flame retardants. They are using wool for the flame barrier. If your into non petroleum based foam then Diamond mattress is good but only their Ethos line. If you want really natural there is all wool futon mattresses if you google them. We chose Diamond mattress for our boys. Noelle > > Ok....everyone is getting new beds with NO metal. > > Does anyone have any experience with the Sealy/Serta/ " temperpedic " type beds?
