I thought for a first, stumbling step, it went all right. It was nice putting a face to a nickname.I think if it is to become a regular event, responsibility needs to be shared among interested others; ie, maybe we need to take turns hosting.Who knows, if it works out, perhaps even Russ, , , Steve, etc may make an appearance.Let's think on it.But for now, thanks . And hugs.Regards,Detlef

I agree - it's off to a good start and I see the potential. is a very soft-spoken, gentle guy and it was nice to see the face (quite handsome, in fact) that went with the name! Thanks again, .

Thanks Detlef!

Just to let everyone know that I recorded our live conference. It can be found

under " Playlist " at my profile (you'll have to scroll down to find it):

http://www.stickam.com/depecheeyes

You won't be able to see the other viewers because the video doesn't record the

chat room. But I inform my viewers throughout what they say. Besides Detlef, we

also had Lou, Neil and Helena. Thank you for attending and participating in the

conference!

Furthermore, I'll host two live conferences a week: one on Fri. and the other on

Sat. More info in the future.

Hi,

This sounds so good ... was there any outline or protocol used in the

discussion .... there is a value to that as well as free form.

Hi Marty, this was our first online meeting so there was no protocol or outline - just testing the waters on this first one. I'm sure any ideas from you would be most welcome - is currently our host, but I believe he'd like others to take turns with that. I agree, free form can get confusing very fast in a "text only" chat environment.

I've never been in a chat room before (until last Saturday), so I'm not sure how sticking to the topic/outline is handled. Is there an equivalent to "raising your hand" when someone has something to say on the topic at hand? Like I said, all new to me!
