Ever since , author of Seeds of Deception, graced the stage at our 2009 LIA Foundation Conference, From Roadblocks to Recovery, the subject of GMO's in our food supply has been very important for families affected by autism spectrum and chronic illness such as Lyme disease.

At that conference he challenged ME to take a stand on GMO's in our population. We did that with an amazing position paper written by Heidi Noyer. That position paper called for...

·A moratorium on all genetically modified foods ·Research to evaluate the role of GM foods on autism, Lyme disease, and related conditions ·Physician and patient advocacy groups to advise patients on the role of GM foods in disease processes·Health practitioners to distribute non-GMO educational materials (www.nonGMOGuide.com )

I am writing today because we need to mobilize. There is a dynamic movement happening here in California. A new organization called, www.labelgmos.org is getting down to business and working to get this thing done! They are working in California to get it on the ballot so we can all vote to LABEL GMO's on our food packaging. What a novel thought, we could actually know what is in our food! They are holding rallys all over California this Sunday. Please do everything in your power to attend these rallys, show your support, donate to their cause or whatever you can do to spread the word.
