Guest guest
There has been a lot of discussion about this on the Lyme Aid site recently and some on the Wisconsin lyme site. Was there was specific you wanted to know? I can tell you what I have read. > Re: FW: > SpiroStat Testing > > I asked about this testing a while back but I don't think I > got any responses. > > > > > > > > > > > Get a SPIROSTAT test!!! Guest guest
At least two felt it very helpful. Here is some of what they said... ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1) , I think it is a great test....but everyone will not test positive....I was totally neg but still believe in it. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 2) > > Get a SPIROSTAT test!!! I cannot recommend enough....the testing is > different, (sorry I'm scientifically challenged) but the main thing > is that they test for MANY different infections at once, not in > separate test after test after test. > > Mine came back NEG for Lyme, but POS for LEPTOSPIROSIS, another > Spirochete that presents almost exactly like Lyme. > ---------------------------------------------------------------- 3) I heartily second this recommendation. I also tested positive for Leptospira biflexa, along with Babesia and Bartonella, things I would never have imagined, let along thought to test for. I could have fooled around for years trying to get a proper diagnosis, with no success. My insurance did not cover this, but that is of small concern at this point - I had been increasingly ill for 10 years, with no doc able to shed the least ray of light on the problem. I spent easily as much, or more, as the SpiroStat test panels on running fruitlessly from one ignorant doc to the next, never getting an accurate diagnos. You can't imagine the relief when I FINALLY learned what the heck was happening in my poor body! To know for sure, and then be able to address the specific issues, was like heaven. > Re: FW: > SpiroStat Testing > > I wanted to know if people felt the test was helpful and > useful.
