This webinar talks about why and how testing the brain function help childrens treatment path.

Abstract:

Almost all procedures to improve and enhance brain function, starts with a Subjective questionnaire & a QEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram). QEEG is more often than not, recorded in 4 different states of conscious experience - 1) Eyes Closed, 2) Eyes Open, 3) Reading/Listening Comprehension & 4) Math.

When artifact is removed from the QEEG and analyzed through an appropriate software program, it becomes possible to look at specific Brodmann areas and how they are work - either at rest, under neutral conditions of almost no cognitive load or when engaging with the external world and/or under conditions of excessive cognitive stress.

The more "slow waves" present in specific Brodmann areas, the higher is the chances of that area of the brain malfunctioning. The malfunctioning could result in the particular area of the brain being dysfunctional and/or having connectivity issues with respect to other areas from which it should send out or receive data.

The 45-minute webinar would deal with how Neuro-modulation through LENS, Neurofield and other cutting edge technologies can handle or manage a brain that is incapable of performing normal cognitive activities because it is under-powered.

He has conducted mentoring programs for senior management professionals on 'The Art of Being Mentally Tough' in leading Indian corporates like Hindustan Lever Ltd., PepsiCo, the House of Tatas, etc; He is the only Asian member of SABA (Society for the Advancement of Brain Analysis) and the primary author of the book "Brain Re-engineering" (Sage Publications, 2003). He was mentored directly by Dr. Barry Sterman.
