I have a free computer resource about lyme. It may answer some of your

questions. See my webpage below.

Hi everyone,

I just joined the group and I have not started ANY Lyme treatments on myself or my son. I'm just doing some research before our first appointment with a lyme doctor. The lyme doctor is going to collaborate with our DAN doctor for treatments. I read Healing Lyme and think I like the herb approach over antibiotics.

I was curious if anyone has ever tried Ivermectin on their kids. I read you should not take it if you have a leaky BBB, and most kids with Autism do. This supplement below is suppose to help close the BBB.

Is this something that is being used or is it not recommended for ASD?

I wanted to do a parasite cleanse with Ivervectin first before attacking any lyme. I think this neuroprotek takes some time to work, like months, which is okay because everything takes months, right!

Also, wanted to see if anyone has tried high dose CO-Q-10 for parasites? If so, what was the dose recommended for kids?

Any comments would be nice

We have used LutiMax which is supposed to be quite similar. I love it. I think

it's recommended to be taken alot the first month and then you can take less. I

saw results in about a half hour actually. The key is that you have to have a

certain level in your body for it to work, so it has to be taken often the first

month. What I saw was improved focus.

Love and prayers,

Im just starting on Neuroprotek so no info yet- been using Ketotifen (per DK) at our house for the past yr and hoping to switch. Im curious about the other one Heidi mentioned as well- have to look it up again- cant recall the name.

My son started taking the Neuroprotek 1 month ago but it is supposed to take 4-6

months to see any results with inflamation, so I am hopeful it will help him

with that.

About the Ivermectin - we gave it to him twice in the past each time for 2 weeks

and and Dr K prescribes it very often for kids who have parasites problem, so I

have never heard it is not good to be used for young kids (my son is 6 years

old). This is actually one of the very few presription medicines that we saw

positives after that.

Could you refer to the study where you read it is not good to be used for kids?

Thanks,

Krassi
