Could you see the pinworms? What do they look like?RuthSent from my iPhone

Hello!

Just wanted to share where we are in our recent use of Immusist. I will recap quickly: My daughter is 18 months. She does not have ASD like my son, but does have congenital lyme and co-infections. We have treated her biomedically since discovering her diagnosis at 8 months. We have used only herbal formulas for detox and antimicrobials. In many ways she is doing well and up to speed for her age. She's always been at the bottom of the growth chart, despite having a big appetite and being on the GAPS/SCD diet her whole life. As she has detoxed, we have seen recurrent yeast overgrowths, additionally we have seen good results from anti-virals.

Of particular note, my daughter NEVER had symptoms of a cold, flu, or anything and is around other children all the time. I always found this to be odd. I recently started giving her colostrum because one of our practitioners recommended it for my son and we saw great things with him on it. Well, after about a month on colostrum, she had her first actual cold with a runny nose and cough. She was having a really hard time recovering and I was worried she'd develop an infection so I looked through my huge supplement cabinet and saw the Immusist that I purchased but never tried because it was around the time we started classical homeopathy with my son. It says on the bottle "Assists Immune Systems"...so I thought...perfect!

On the third day of Immusist, pinworms came out in her stool! Not at all what I was expecting...but very happy to have concrete proof of something I had suspected for a long time. We started her on Vermox and it proved to be a pretty bad pinworm infection. This week, she developed a red rash on her hands, feet, and patches around her nose and under her right eye (they looked sorta like red-wine stain birthmarks). When I bathed her that night, the skin felt slimy like the surfactant came up through her skin. I wasn't sure what was going on, but the next day the rash was gone and she had a huge cognitive and language burst, then the next day was yeast. Therefore, I think she has started detoxing something deeper that hasn't come out in previous detox rounds.

We are at 2 drops/2 times a day. I am giving anti-fungals now trying to get the yeast under control, but happy that we are seeing such progress! Her distended belly has gone down significantly. It is strange to see an 18 month old toe-walking, but I am pretty sure this is a yeast sign, right? I remember my son starting this after a round of antibiotics when he was 15 months old. He still does this after a viral die-off, but I am not very good at figuring out the signs.

I just want to say thank you to Rita for introducing this product to our family. It is still very early on, but I am hopeful after seeing such remarkable changes in a short time.

Yes...definitely. They were moving (gag)!

They looked like white thin stringy worms (about 1/2 inch in length). If they

had been dead, I might have thought they were pieces of undigested shredded

chicken. You get the idea?!

I think Rita's theory about the worms losing traction might hold true for us.

The surfactant product feels like dish soap. I imagine the pinworms sorta

slipping out...but I don't know for sure!

Never said it tasted good...

mix in a small shot size glass w/some juice (@ this time of night my husband

recommends a good Jack s :o)...hope you know that's a late night joke...)

....follow immediately w/a full glass of water chaser.

Surfactants are edible soaps...

also, being a soap...it can bubble up when poured or shaken stirred or mixed.

Because of the bubles & extra air it can also tend to give a pretty good belch

depending on the dose....

We just get through it for the sake of improved health...

Blessings,

Rita

What I do is buy empty gelatin capsules and put the drops in them. I

put the drops in and then immediately swallow the pill with a half of

glass of water. No one can taste it then. I would not go through this

trouble if it didn't work so good. I don't notice a smell, but the

taste is kind of soap-like, so I just avoid it all together.

I have used DMSO (also a surfactant) in the same protocol w MMS, but l do give them in separate timing. The purpose is to give the surfactant first so that it softens the cell walls, thus the MMS permeates deeper into it.Just my 0.02! ;-)IsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Fri, 11 Nov 2011 09:19:15 -0600To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Re: Surfactant update Could you put immusist and MMS in the same capsule?Keena What I do is buy empty gelatin capsules and put the drops in them. On the Immusist bottle it says 16 drops three times daily for adults and half of

this amount for children. Are any of the kids in this chatgroup up to 8 drops

three times daily yet? Have any of the children gone higher than this dose?

After starting, how long is it usually taking to see any reaction at all?

Thinking through all the kids I know on this & the notes us moms have shared for

the last year....I'd say No...I personally don't know any ASD child up to dose

of 8 drops 3x daily. The highest dose I know of in our group is (13yo @

95 lbs & I'd put him about 80% BioMedically recovered...this took 3-4 months to

work up to...he's currently on 10 drops am + 10 drops pm.

Most of the younger or less recovered kids that have been using it more than 2

months through the work up stage are pretty much holding between 5-8 drops 2x

days.

As always, reactions depend on the child & what stage of recovery they are in.

The most dramatical/noticacable are the less recovered, especially the

non-verbal, non-interactory....moms just notice & get more excited when the

verbal/interactory starts or jumps up. For us, since he's so far along in his

recovery, the gains weren't so apparent, but ART testing wise it pushed him to a

new level of healing. The pediatricians child (3 now 4) noticed small changes

gradually over the course of a few months...the eye contact took 6-8 months. The

RN's child (5 - was non-verbal)had substantial increase in focus & increased

attension span such that the teacher commented within 4 weeks....interactory

play with his sister @ 8 weeks-same with his 1st spontanious word ( " more " ).

Blessings,

Rita

Do you think it's all right to give it three times daily as the bottle suggests?

I would rather give less drops more frequently throughout the day.

I would not. I think that it needs to be in liquid, which is why I

drink water immediately after taking it in the pill. Having taken a

chemistry class, I don't think mixing things in the same capsule is good

unless one knows it's ok, like the people who make herbal formulas and

such.

I fully concur w/Heidi & ask you to not mix chemicals together w/o knowing the

chemical reactions together....I am expecially concerned about mixing it w/MMS

because of the reported concerns already w/the MMS product....

Spreading it's use throughout the day does work....keeping in mind if you are

trying to dose it w/something to help facilitate absorption...we do both dose

absorption facilitation & all day:

We give a morning dose (putting our designated drops in shot glass containers

which we take w/our vit/minerals/CLO & LDM-100...using the surfactants to push

our good stuff further).

Because of our herbalists recommendation to drink room temp water we always keep

a glass pitcher (pitcher is about a gallon w/a lid) on our counter w/our water.

We put 1 drop into the pitcher then fill w/our water...it's cool, you'll see how

even just 1 drop will bubble up. We'll drink this all day long including filling

the school/work water bottles. We do not count this in our dosing per say

because it's only 1 drop & we're all sharing it so it's hard to keep track of

actual dosing...especially w/my dd/dh who are only on 5 drops a day, it just

assures me that we are effortlessly spreading it's dosing throughout the

day...which is a Really Good Thing!!

Depending on the kid toe walking can also be toxic metal dumping...binders

sometimes help here. Generally I've found if it's also accompanied by extra

saliva/drooling I'll lean toward metals dumping.

Again, w/the surfactants this year 's very much on a mercury

dump/chelation size toxic metals excretion this year w/just Immusist & chlorella

(we recently added Cilantro as well because of this....mercury is documented @

..63 on his Doctors Data Hair Toxic & Essential Elements Hair test dated

8/11/2011).

Here's my notes from research I've done on symptoms of mercury toxicity:

Early signs of mercury exposure include decreased sense of touch, hearing,

vision and taste, fatigue, increased salivation. Moderate exposure symptoms

include numbness in mouth and extremities, headaches, hypertension, irritability

and excitability, immune suppression. Advanced exposure includes tremors,

incoordination, anemia, psychoses, manic behaviors, autoimmune disorders, renal

dysfunction or failure.

July, 2000 Testimony before US House of Representatives: Mercury poisoning side

affects " include the defining characteristics of autism - sensory disturbances

such as numbness in the extremities and mouth, aversion to touch, and unusual

response to noise; movement disorders like toe-walking, hand flapping,

clumsiness, and choreiform movements; and cognitive impairments in specific

domains like short-term verbal and auditory memory and in understanding abstract

ideas. "
