Since an ACBS membership fee (renewable annually) is required to join SIG, I will be unable to participate. My finances really are that tight, especially right now.

Thanks,

Helena

Hi everyone,Thanks for everyone's support for our new Special Interest Group (SIG), which aims to get ACT out to the Public. If you want to officially join this SIG, you can do so on our ACBS SIG page at (you need to be an ACBS member to join): http://contextualpsychology.org/Getting_ACT_Out_to_the_Public_SIGOur secretary, Darrell King, has set up a yahoo! listserv that will be dedicated solely to getting ACT out to the Public. You can join via this link:http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/GettingACTOutToThePublicIf there's anything else I can do, please just drop me a line.Take care,Aisling

Hi Helena

The ACBS membership fee is actually values based. Each member decides how much they think it's worth.

Even though there is a recommended amount, it's possible to sign up for $1 & increase it to whatever you can afford when you renew your membership in a year's time.

Hope that helps.

Oops, should've checked the site first... Seems the minimum is now $10, not $1 as I mentioned.

Helena, hope that doesn't rule you out for now.
