Guest guest
Are you still taking Sammy to the Mayo Clinic??? Sounds like he is doing much better. Thank God for that..I am still going to the Mayo and the University in Wisconsin. I just found out I have Mycobacterium. We are waiting for the sputum's to grow out so they know what medicine to treat it with. Does Sammy still have problems???? I hope he is much better. Joy L from Wisconsin Who did he see for an ENT at Mayo Clinic?? Subject: Re: frequent sinus infectionsTo: bronchiectasis Date: Tuesday, February 1, 2011, 3:36 PM I have chronic sinus infections. Is this common with bronchiectasis? My primary care physician is sending me to an ENT; he doesn't feel that one is related to the other. What experiences have you all had? Thanks, Jona S. Guest guest
e, I think you got me mixed up with Jona or the other Joy in the group. I was headed to the Mayo Clinic when you took Sammy there but I didn't get their that day till late so wasn't able to track you down. I did have sinus surgery up there but it didn't help me. The ENT is not sure what to do with me. I have been on a roller coaster with medicine jumping for one to another, now I have this mycobacterium to deal with. We are waiting on sputum growth to decide what medicine to use. I am so glad Sammy is doing better, I hope he keeps improving.
