Guest guest
If MRI doesn't show anything, are they thinking some sort of migraine? There is a new one called complex migraine to check out. ________________________________ To: Tetheredspinalcord <tetheredspinalcord > Sent: Fri, March 4, 2011 9:05:24 AM Subject: Face/Upper Body Issues  Total long shot here, but does anyone else have face tingling/tickling/numbness? I have started to develop it (Since last Saturday) as well as a HUGE sensitivity to light and sound. I had to sit in my car while my husband was vacuuming the house, my GPS is on silent, I can't be around people with phones. And my eyeballs hurt like hell (no changes in activity, no eye issues) Can someone tell me what is going on?I can hardly wait for my brain MRI tomorrow!!!!! Guest guest
Good luck with the MRI with the sound sensitivity, hope they can sedate you or something. Not sure to wish for seeing something or not but hope they figure out what is going on soon. Have my own traction machine to use as needed but I bet it has been a year since I have had to. It was most likely caused by over compensation from my leg weakness (leaning on walker :-) ) and not standing correctly. Hope you do NOT have MS. Guest guest
Are u taking Topamax? It is notorious for causing tingling. That is a known side effect. I took it for about 8-10 years. The tingling was more apparent when I first started taking it and after a dose increase. Even after being at a stable dose and the tingling resolved, I would notice it again when I was cold. Especially on my face. It was slight. I would usually feel like I had a stray hair brushing my cheek. After trying to brush it away for 3 min, I would finally figure out it was the tingling from the Topamax. I also had the tingling in my hands. Sent from my iPhone Thanks Rick and .
