Thanks Dave, i was beginning to think i was loosing it...

I could not imagine that it was legal all over the country to sell syringes

without scripts.

That to me would really be a wild situation, as far as drug addicts were

concerned...

I know that when i was working in a group home, we had to have prescriptions

to buy syringes, and we had to document exactly how many were used where....

and have them counted etc just like narcotics. (we cheated and got around

that rule, by saying that the day treatment program we ran took care of the

syringes, when the residence program inspectors were there, and then when the

day treatment program inspectors would come, we'd tell them the residense

staff took care of the syringes.)
