I have not heard that it addresses the stomach type of flu so it would not afford you any protection from that type. There's several other possibilities, including food poisoning that irritated your digestive tract, bugs, antibiotic use, celiac. Usually, once we get " broken in " on the Glucophage, we can manage it, and you've been on it a year. But it could be that as well. I'm concerned about you because of your mention of having liver damage.
