Guest guest
Welcome Keena! I LOVE Dr. Cave (been around BioMeds a while )..I met her at the DAN (4 or 5 years ago....funny story from our WA group, won't tell it now but I'm chuckling right now)...I've given Dr Cave's book for baby shower gifts w/a nice note to spend as much time reading the book as you do looking for that safe care seat...it's the 1 thing that I wish I would have been given for a baby gift....). Anyhow, I also love the Zyto...I've seen to much to not believe it should help you have less violent reactions. I'd sure like to see you give Immusist (surfactants) a try...going low & slow say 1 drop 2x a day for a week or 2 then only add 1 drop every week or 2 from there. Check w/your Zyto practioner...I can get her a vile of it if she needs. I have a couple of tough nuts breaking through slowly on it...it's safe & effective just helping the body work better by reducing the surfact tension between the cells, oxygenating & hydrating....I'm finding it gently helps get the ball rolling. Blessings, Rita > > My son is 10 and is one of those tough nuts( non verbal, seizure disorder, gut kid) mentioned before. We have tried everything. Dr. cave was my son's first DAN who most of you probably don't even know. I have tested positive for Lyme with Igenex and had my son tested last week. Regardless of his result, we are still going to pursue treatment. We will be treated by a Dr. C (not someone typically mentioned) using Zyto as guidance. She mostly uses Nutramedix products, but does do other mostly herbal or natural things. I know my son has parasites. When he was 6 or so, gave us a three day course of Alinia to try. After one dose, my normally laid back son, screamed and beat his head for hours. At the time, I assumed he reacted to a binder in the Meds, but I know now we were probably killing something. Will we be able to kill enough with herbals? Will herbals cause as violent a reaction as Meds? Will we eventually get to Meds? > > Any thoughts would be appreciated, > > keena >
Guest guest
Can you put the one drop into a capsule? Guest guest
The trick is to start low and increase slowly. We do this with prescriptions too. We do not simply start with target doses. > > My son is 10 and is one of those tough nuts( non verbal, seizure disorder, gut kid) mentioned before. We have tried everything. Guest guest
Hi Keena, My son is also one of these tough kids (6 years old, mostly non-verbal, parastes and PANDAS as main issues right now) and we have been treating him for parasites for the past 7-8 months and as per Dr. K's prediction we may have to continue doing so for 1 more year! Parasites is very difficult to get rid of and you need to attack them from many different angles, because they hide. That's why I was told attacking them only with herbals may not be enough (at least in our case, I have heard of other kids who have used only herbals) and we tried Ivermectin, Albenza and other prescription parasitic medication (we still have to do for 3rd time Ivermectin for 6 weeks, but we haven't started yet). Currently we are doing Mimosa Pudica and with this herbal Dr. K said that most likely he will be for an year (we give it every other day). We use also the Immusist, because tested very good with the ART testing. In the beginning you may see some die-off (more irritable) but after 1 week or so things get better. Hope this helps, Krassi > > My son is 10 and is one of those tough nuts( non verbal, seizure disorder, gut kid) mentioned before. We have tried everything. Guest guest
I know some that put it in capsules....though at the low doses our kids are taking it is preferred though to just put the 1 or 2 drops straight into the glass of water (part juice/water...like a 50/50blend is also ok just to make sure it's getting the whole thing down) you hardly know it's there dosed like this... & this way we know the water is being dosed w/the drops. The concern I have w/putting it into capsules is because of the comment from " Enzymes For Autism & Other Neurological Disorders " by DeFlice...she made a comment in the book about the time it takes for the capsule to disolve releasing it's contents (it's been a while, I think it was about 20 min for the capsule to break-up/disolve)...not being a doc, I'm not sure if the water that was taken w/it would still be adequately available to appropriately & fully dispurse the surfactants as they are suppose to be dosed w/a full glass of water...the water is what carries it throughout the body. It's not that it would not work at all...I'm just not sure if you'd be getting the full benefit of it is my concern dosing it in a capsule. If there is anyone that would understand the capsule breakdown further, please jump in & comment. TIA!! Guest guest
Yes the breakdown of the capsule is my concern too. My son will not drink anything but water. If I put lemon in the water he won't drink it. So he is a bit picky. Huge feeding issues still at age 9. I forcefully syringed for about 2 years and I chose not to do that again. > > > > > > > > My son is 10 and is one of those tough nuts( non verbal, seizure disorder, gut kid) mentioned before. Guest guest
The capsules I have used leak almost immediately, so I have to put the drops in and then swallow the pill right away so the capsule doesn't leak out. I guess it's because the Immusist is liquid, the capsule breaks down right away. Vitacost has some really affordable capsules. For those who are very strict about capsules, Young Living has some that are free of questionable materials.
