Guest guest
With sleep issues her whole life, my 10 year old has reached an all-time low. she now is up ALL night + sleeps all day. she can not fall asleep, she will sleep about 10 hours straight through once asleep. It has come and gone through out the years but I could never put my finger on it trying melatonin, herbal remedies + homeopathics, really with no luck. Now it is the worst it has ever been, she is not only up all night but will run around or need to jump uncontrollably, melt down, leave all the lights on, she has not slept on her own in her own bed since she was a baby, so needless to say this is taking its tole. She has had a really rough year, dad left a bit over a year ago, we moved cross-country lived with my mom in her apartment for 4 months + have been in our new home for about 3 months, oh + the very beginning of puberty. She was on a normal sleep schedule before the move. She currently is having a big viral flare/ brain inflammation as par for the course this time of year, typically lasting through Christmas. Regressing in all areas + increase of anxiety/fears. I'm thinking with the hormone situation, her insomnia may max out when I am ovulating, just a theory. I will be getting more on board for the viral piece but I need a sleep solution so I can keep it together until she bounces back. I can use any insight anyone may have ~ thanks!
