Guest guest
Our daughter who has TC did not qualify for SSI because of our income. The hospital we go to for SB clinic helped us get state medical assistance and that pays for everything our insurance doesn't cover. She had to be turned down for SSI before we could get the state medical assistance and the medical assistance is available no matter what the family's income is. I'm not sure if every state has something like that, we're in PA. If you have a SB clinic that you are going to/will go to you could check with them to see what is available in your state. Guest guest
Look up the SS website. You can print and apply online (or you used to be able to). It's a lengthy process but worth it if your child qualifies. Kathy Does Tethered Spinal Cord qualify for SSI on an infant? Hi, Our Daughter was diagnosed with Tethered Spinal Cord does any one know if it qualifies for SSI? and how to go about it. We have private insurence but does not cover everything and we are concern about the bills. How do you find help? Where do you look for it? Sincerely, Carolyn
