Guest guest
Kistine, I am very familiar with Galesburg and that area of Illinois. I only like Chicago in the summer or anytime there is not any snow or ice on the ground. I had plenty of that the first 48 years of my life having lived in the upper Midwest. Thank you for your good wishes. IL. and was raised near Galesburg, IL. in SMALL towns; , Galva, and Oneida, IL. All a lot of farming communities, really. My son, Sammy was born nearly 9 years ago in downtown Chicago. That's the city I call "home". I love everything about Chicago, well except the crime, I guess :-) My youngest sister lives in Rockford, IL. and my older sister lives in Abingdon, IL. which is pretty close to the Ms. river. My mom lives in Galesburg, IL. I live in Orlando, FL. Can you tell who married a man thathates to shovel snow??I am hoping and praying that they don't admit you into the hosp, I completely agree w/ you that you need to stay as far away from the hosp 'sick people' as you can. Please know that you have SO many people pulling for you, we've missed you, sweetie!Take good care of yourself and I pray that you get the news you are hoping for, like the cryo treatments are doing the job. That would be Fantastic!! As you all know by now, this is quite an expensive disease. Guest guest
Kris and Sharyn - We have good friends who live in DeKalb. When we would travel from Iowa City, Iowa to visit them, I think we might have gone through Aurora or at least nearby on the way to their house. My daughter, who has lived in the Chicago area for many years, has lived in both Wheaton and Naperville. I notice in the Atlas that they are near Aurora. We love that area too, but try to stay away in the winter.
