Guest guest
Hi, Yes I had this done twice, and a lot nerve blocks. My original diagnosis was coccydynia, so anything related I had.No change for me, sorry. I did have physical therapy in that area and that helped a bit (2 years ago and this year) but all the pain is back. Subject: Caudal steroid injection To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Wednesday, April 6, 2011, 9:27 AM  has anyone ever had this type of caudal injection, with analgesic and cortisone, at or very near their sacral hiatus (just above the coccyx)? how did you feel about 2-3 days later? did your pain decrease and stay that way? Did it increase temporarily? If so, how long after the injection and for how long? thank you, Margaret
Guest guest
I am driving for 4 hours 2 days later for another appointment and I just wanted to know if people have increased pain experiences after the caudal injections, I might reschedule my appointment. I think I might just wait until Tuesday and see how I feel. > > > > > has anyone ever had this type of caudal injection, with analgesic and cortisone, at or very near their sacral hiatus (just above the coccyx)? > > > > how did you feel about 2-3 days later? > > > > did your pain decrease and stay that way? Guest guest
Good luck! And grab a donut pillow Did they say they think it will help? Or do you have tail bone issues? Do you have tail bone issues? One thing that helped me is pelvic physical therapy. I had been clenching my muscles due to pain. It really does wonders! My pain started getting worse lower back wise, but pelvic got better and I have techniques now if I feel it On Wed Apr 6th, 2011 7:38 PM CDT weathering_the_tethering wrote: >I am driving for 4 hours 2 days later for another appointment and I just wanted to know if people have increased pain experiences after the caudal injections, I might reschedule my appointment. Guest guest
yes in addition to whats going on in my lumbar spine, my sacrum is curved and underdeveloped. I had a bad fall on it about 20 years ago and I think I damaged it then. It tends to be sensitive .... and I always have knots in my gluts when I go to the massage therapist. And it hurts especially if someone jokingly rat tails or towel whips me etc - ouch! I wont be bringing a donut pillow, I don't have one and I think I am too thin for that to be comfortable for me. thanks for the well wishes Margaret > >> > >> > > >> > has anyone ever had this type of caudal injection, with analgesic and cortisone, at or very near their sacral hiatus (just above the coccyx)? > >> > > >> > how did you feel about 2-3 days later? > >> > > >> > did your pain decrease and stay that way? Guest guest
I had a fall down the stairs. Same thing, knots all over the place. I did just have a trigger point injection directly to that site and it helped. Subject: Re: Caudal steroid injection To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Thursday, April 7, 2011, 7:45 AM  yes in addition to whats going on in my lumbar spine, my sacrum is curved and underdeveloped. Guest guest
I have also injections in the neck but now on both side near the throat so the do it left and a week later the other side My neck and both arms hurting so bad The tirth one is lower back It helps 3 - 4 months to reduce the pain for 60% in the legs and pain in the arms is almost gone. When i got only one in my neck it helps not so much for long periode.
