hypo / iso / hypertonic nebs

- should be iso- (= " same " salts as human body) OR hyper = (greater

than level of salts in human body) - tonic.

isotonic saline nebs = 0.9%. Hypertonic saline nebs anything higher

than that, most commonly 3% or 6%, but can be varied.

hope this helps sort the hypo (= less than) which would be normal

water, and the rest... Don't worry I found it awfully confusing

first time I came across this too!
