Guest guest
Hi , Well I just started some basic pelvic PT and it seems to help, then I do massage once a week. I do take Baclofen, It has helped some with the muscle spasms. The knots are buttocks, lower back, front of hips. I was told that they are from walking/sitting incorrectly. I am just at a loss here.. they are HORRIBLE. I go back to see Dr. Frim in February. Hope you are doing well.. any surgery update from you?? Subject: Re: Muscle knots- huge and painful! To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Tuesday, January 11, 2011, 7:23 PM  Hi , Is this the same as you had preop? Do you notice it in relation to the PT if so maybe you have to go slower with exercise routine for now. I am not a big believer in PT. As long as you know how to do basic exercises correctly, then I think you are better off doing the exercises on your own at your own pace, and use exercise bike, pool etc. Have you tried Baclophen, it helps me tremendously. Are other things better since surgery or too soon to know the difference yet? > > Hi guys, > Hope everyone had a good weekend. > So I started to get my muscle knots again. They are extremely painful and huge. Anyone else have this issue?Any tips? > I am doing massage once a week, PT twice a week (pelvic/muscular), and using heat. But they are huge. I actually think they are interfering with my legs since they go numb and get painful. > Any thoughts? > > > > > >
