Guest guest
Yeah, I've thought about ebay too...in fact I tried putting a couple of rag dolls on there but they didnt sell (I had a reserve set). I think with Etsy being more homemade oriented, I will have better luck there. Great idea though for those that enjoy yard sales! Subject: work from home To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Thursday, March 24, 2011, 4:56 PM  Just one more idea: I have a friend that makes pretty good money selling on Ebay (and for full disclosure, my sister tried and stunk at this). She started small - selling items from her home that were no longer needed, then moved to buying items at yard sales/estate sales/local auctions and reselling on Ebay. She does her homework though - looking for what is selling well at Ebay and making as certain as possible she can make a profit. I'm sure for every person making money doing this there's way more losing money or not making any at all - but worth a thought if anyone has the bug to buy and sell. I've often thought about this, but I get really bored at yard sales. Kathy Re: VR/Buliding access now work from home Thats awesome Rick! Sorry it hasnt led to a good gig but hopefully it will at some point There have to be some legitimate work from home programs out there somewhere! At one point I had a decent demand for my glass art but as I deteriorated my pain made me too unreliable to complete orders timely and I gave it up. Now with this past surgery, I hope with time to be able to start that back up. What with Etsy and all, it may be easier to go that route. Anyone here run an Etsy business?
