Guest guest
Hi, Just heard back from the local ADA office and they are sending an inspector to the building that I couldn't have accessed without assistance. The woman that returned my call said if what I stated is true (it is) that all issues stated are non-compliant for a public building, never mind one that houses a medical facility. She was great and told me a few horror stories about buildings where the owners swore to others they were in compliance and of course they're weren't. She's sending me some information via attachment on federal and my state's compliance and will get back to me after the inspection. If anyone wants some/all of the federal info she sends me (or if anyone is interested in NC), let me know and I'll forward to your private address. Hoping that it's good information to anyone that comes across public buildings that are inaccessible. Kathy
