Guest guest
Hi All, Noticed recently that there has been an increase in spam emails from various members. I am assuming that these individuals accounts have been inffected and that their address books have been compromised by a worm, virus, malware, etc. If that is the case, here is what to do: 1. Change your email account password. After logging into your email account, navigate to the page where you can change your password and do so. 2. Run a virus scan. Make sure your virus scan software is up to date and run a virus scan. If you get prompted to run a scan on your system by some software you have never seen before don't do it. It's probably malware in the guise of anti-virus software. I would also recommend doing a free online virus scan since not all virus scanners pick up everything. A reputable good one is HouseCall from Trend Micro which can he accessed at this link: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ If you have any other questions related to this feel free to email me directly.
