Guest guest
has anyone used dr williams in washington for their children, she is a psychiatrist? She was recommended to me by our LLMD but it is a 15+ hour car ride for us to see her so want to make sure it is the best choice. My son's fears/phobias/stress response rages/severe startle response have us locked up at home in silance for over a year now and i need help desperately. Guest guest
Typically, psychiatrists are medical doctors who don't really learn much about psychology. They are taught to treat from a medical angle. Currently, all the many psychiatrists I have seen for one of my children or worked with (my work put in contact with many) have only prescribed psych meds and nothing else. And to add to this, they would say, "hmm let's try this psych med and see how it works." So, what I am saying is why is this particular psychiatrist good? If she is just prescribing psych meds, well, I am not seeing a great thing there. A naturopath is likely to treat medically from a healing point of view that will affect one's behaviors. Herbalists, naturopath doctors, and homeopaths all treat from an angle to also affect one's behaviors. My children had all those symptoms you describe. Treating for Bartonella, plus giving Mindlinx probiotic, plus natural anti-inflammatories, plus Bach remedies, plus prayer requests to strong faithful Christian individuals has done wonders here. I know people put their kids on psych meds, and to be honest, I don't blame them since the symptoms are so very stressful. But, one of mine saw psychiatrists for 9 years (pre-Internet times), and when I discovered on the Internet about biomed, he lost more symptoms in 3 days than all those years of psych meds ever did for him. Those with effected children today are so fortunate to have the Internet. Those of us with older kids could not help our children back then and had very limited choices. If you talk to those on psych meds, they will say that they constantly have to get the dose changed, the medication changed, etc. in order to see results. How psychiatrists work is that you go every month and make changes often. Love and prayers, Heidi N has anyone used dr williams in washington for their children, she is a psychiatrist?
