Guest guest
A nice looking site. I have about 4 books on the go at the moment and I am very exhausted so I usually only get halfway through your site when I peter out. I shall read it all eventually and let you know. I did find it a little hard to read because of the tragic scenarios, but the ACT Depression Handbook that I have was the same making me feel uncomfortable. The book showed how ACT can be used for even the most painful conditions but it didn't cheer me up that much. Just the same, it is a good book because of its optimism describing how we can change and that we are not fixed by faulty biology. Guest guest
Thanks for the very useful feedback, Kaivey. In hindsight, it's not a very good example, way too tragic and emotionally charged. I'm going to use a more benign example, and I'm also going to introduce it as involving a third party, and then ask the reader to imagine being that third party for a moment. A more gentle way of illustrating the point. Thx. > > > > Would greatly appreciate comments, specifically whether people think > they understand what is trying to be said here. > > > > https://sites.google.com/site/scientificdharma/choices > > > > Thx! > > >
Guest guest
Hi Rato - It would be helpful to know more about the author or the sponsoring organization. It's important to know who mixed the Kool-aid.BillTo: ACT_for_the_Public From: rato_branco@...Date: Sat, 26 Nov 2011 20:47:02 +0000Subject: Re: Intuition-Following: Making Choices Without Suffering Thanks for the very useful feedback, Kaivey.
