Guest guest
I am a former patient. His book is expensive and the treatment he recommended for me to use against Bartonella was expensive as well. In addition to extensive antibiotics targeting Bartonella, (Zith + rifampin.) he recommended I take a great deal of Zhang's HH. I found Zhang's HH to be very effective. I was taking 3 caps, 3 times daily for 6 months while taking the antibiotic regimen. It also helps if you take rifampin once daily (2 caps) at bedtime. Initially I found extreme emotional anxiety from the protocol and later found that treating strep simultaneously with augmentin (Zith did not hit my strep) eliminated the wild emotional ride and turned me back into myself. I find many of us with ASD and Lyme in the family have strep tied in with their Bartonella. Also, watch for vivid, psychedelic dreams on this protocol as that would be babesia flaring. If that happens, add artemisiae or stop and treat with Mepron plus Zith first. I am not a dr. Just a patient with a great deal of experience and lots of great drs. 2 other things that seemed to help with Bartonella were lots of CLO and also lauriciden. I ended up using those on top of everything else. Somehow I need like 3 meds and 2 herbs in high doses for 6 months to a year to really clear something. Since my Bartonella is still flairing I'm considering purchasing it, but it's so costly I thought I'd check if anybody has read it and could give me feedback on it and whether or not it's worth the price. Guest guest
Thanks for your response Caryn! I've been treating for 5+ years now and have tried everything you mentioned except Dr Zhang's product. We were hitting Bartonella hard for a long time and many of my symptoms from the Bartonella eased for awhile (my initial Frye labs test showed an extremely high rate of Bartonella in my blood, more Bart cells than my own cells really). I started the Salt/C protocal 6 weeks ago and now I've got a flurry of Bartonella symptoms coming back up (especially crazy skin symptoms). I'm not sure if it's a simple herx or a flair that will be here to stay. I'm continuing on with the Salt/C (I've been stuck at 1/2 dose of the full protocal). I was thinking that I should look at adding in some specific Bartonella herbals or a biofilm that works for Bartonella with this. I was thinking about adding in Houttuynia and Clove Bud essential oil. Is Dr Zhang's product worth it? It looks like it's simply Houttuynia and I was going to purchase the powder form of the herb and put it in capsules myself (much cheaper; 1stchineseherbs has it for $18/lb). Thanks so much for brainstorming with me. > > > > I've been eyeing this book for years. Guest guest
The HH was worth it to me, but I would certainly try another type first. For me, I was having a serious reaction to 1/4 cap. Working up to 3 caps was huge. Again, what finally helped was doing everything at once. > > > > > > I've been eyeing this book for years. Guest guest
Caryn: After your extensive care under Dr. JS did you get well? I was curious as to whether his treatment plan worked, or if you still have some symptoms. I started to consult with him, but for various reasons decided not to. Thanks, BettinaSent from my Motorola ATRIX™ 4G on AT & T Re: Has anybody read this book? The HH was worth it to me, but I would certainly try another type first. Guest guest
I only worked with him for 6 months. I did eliminate babesia and learned very much from him. I have since begun working with a local LlMD who I like very much and who agreed to follow the plan dr s layer out for Bartonella. We have since shifted our focus to Lyme. I am now functional but on drugs. > > > > Thanks for your response Caryn! I've been treating for 5+ years now and have tried everything you mentioned except Dr Zhang's product.
