BethanyI know sandy stools are a symptom of candida, let's see what other members report. Now that we know what we know, memories can hit you like a lightning, uh? Happens to me too.X0IsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Thu, 01 Mar 2012 14:47:55 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: sandy stools - what is this a symptom of? What are sandy stools a symptom of? We're not seeing these now, but I was struck with a very strong memory this week of my son having these right after he was born. Brought a diaper to show the pediatrician, he wouldn't even look at it, told me there was a lot of variation in newborn poop, blah blah blah. But I knew something was wrong, then the seizures started at age 2...it goes on.Thanks for the help,Bethany

Absolutely they can have a yeast infection. Many have thrush at just a couple weeks old. They can be born with it and that's just yeast.
