Guest guest
I just tried AloePure by life science products. For me, it worked very quickly and better than anything else I have used.K Hi all-Does anyone else out there have a kiddo who WILL NOT POOP? This poor kid has been traumatized from the days when it hurt to go, so he is now a champion stool holder. It is unbelievable.........we have tried most everything that would work on a large horse (lol).......in the past.......an entire canister of natural calm (over 6 hours) and nothing.......coconut oil, and unfortunately (a few years back) had to resort to an enema (which he held for over an hour) and suppositories. He has the big, pregnant-looking belly, but is as happy as a lark.....no signs of it hurting him.Yesterday, I resorted to castor oil, then 1 tbspn of coconut oil, 5-6 prunes....and nothing happened for 6 whole hours. He has gone a little, but not like he should be. I can't keep treating him for his infections with him not going.......and I feel like this is a silly reason to not be able to treat.......sooooo frustrating!!!Any ideas? Advice? Products that work? Guest guest
Aloe didn't work here...not much has and my kid is Mr. Happy. He always gets plugged up with too much die off? and it also seems to occur around the full/new moons and moldy weather condititions these days. I do use ducolax when needed...but had a 2 month stretch this past fall where he didn't go at all on his own. Living Streams Flora PM has been really helpful as has Barlow Herbals Munnisist--haven't used together, but both opened the flood gates. When he doesn't go I tend to up the calcium/mag citrate (not natural calm, heard that has AL or lead), mag oxide and once in a while I might add a vit c. But the Flora PM and Munnisist have been surprising tickets. My kid has had the constipation issues since birth. HTH, lisa
Guest guest
Just went through a similar situation with my son....only able to poop after an enema or suppository. I gave vermox and within 15 minutes he was running to the toilet. It has been 14 days since the Vermox treatment and he has had daily bm's 12 out of the 14 days. Guest guest
I agree with using vermox.. Worked for us, too. The problem is that production of vermox stopped in Dec 2011. Are people still finding it? Our pediatrician wasn't able to get it. Another product that really works (and we've tried them all) is Oxypowder. Serious stuff that liquified the BM. It is virtually impossible to hold it in...ha! na > > Hi all- > > Does anyone else out there have a kiddo who WILL NOT POOP? Guest guest
, we faced this 9 yrs ago when our son withheld stool and he would only go every 5-10 days. We tried everything and ended up seeing Dr Arthur Krigsman in NY. He scoped our son and found inflammation throughout his GI tract. He put my son on prescription anti-inflammatories and over 3-6 months all of his pain symptoms went away and he started to go normally. We have stayed on the meds ever since because as we tried to stop the sx would come back. His BMs were still not quite what we wanted so someone told us about Oxypowder, http://www.oxypowder.com/ That product has worked very well for both of our boys for years. Guest guest
Hi na! To answer your question about the vernix, we live in europe where it's available without a prescription. If I were you I would try one of the online pharmacies. Kari > > > > Hi all- > > > > Does anyone else out there have a kiddo who WILL NOT POOP? Guest guest
That is a good question. We did not do any tests to confirm the parasites were killed if that is what you are asking. There is too much controversy over parasite testing for me to spend my money on it. We also did not see any worms in the bm's although I did not inspect them thoroughly. What I can tell you that we saw immediate gains with the vermox treatment which simply could not have come from anything else. #1 being regular bm's, #2. increased socialization, verbalizations and interests such as playing with a wider variety of toys. We also noticed gains in motor skills. My son hopped on his razor scooter for the first time and rode it appropriately whereas before he never showed the interest nor did have the skill. We have continued to have gains since the treatment, but I can't say for sure if it is due to the vermox or not. because about one week after the Vermox, we also changed probiotics. Anyway, I will mention we have also noticed less sensory issue and/or auditory processing problems. He is following commands and eating foods which he would through a kicking, screaming fit over in the past. Yesturday his teacher told me he is 100% a different child today than he was just a few short weeks ago. I will be repeating the 3 day course of Vermox next week just to be sure we got them all. So, I am not sure if this is the answer you are looking for, but in my opinion, the answer is YES! Kari > > > > > > Hi all- > > > > > > Does anyone else out there have a kiddo who WILL NOT POOP? Guest guest
We used many anti parasitics and keep working at it to kill all parasites. But mebendazole. Killed the ones that caused a constant inability to poop. My son used to go 4 or 5 days before pooping and would often go lying down on his belly. Mebendazole fixed this. > > > > > > Hi all- > > > > > > Does anyone else out there have a kiddo who WILL NOT POOP?
