Oh my goodness I've been there and I guess I still am in some ways. Please be careful with the rife. I stopped the rife in early Jan. IT's a "big gun" for later when you have recovered more I believe. The herbs are strong but not a "killing spree" like abx or rife. You have more control over how much you put his body/mind through but just adjusting how many drops you are giving him...in my opinion.

Puberty causes lyme to flourish because it's STRESS. The immune system is taxed already and the hormonal surges anyone goes through with puberty is HUGE for a person with lyme. I believe was in remission before that as he was so high functioning, happy and really very social.

Dr. B is simplifying our supplement load and has a protocol for lyme patients that's compounded into 3 capsules, 3 times a day, the classic supplements that all lyme patients need. We add fish oil, probiotics, our anti-mirobials (herbs twice a day) and detox like burber, and I use pekana detox and some lemon water and olive oil but that's SO SO much less than the complicated mass amounts he was taking.

What happened with us is each time we tried anti-biotics, he herxed WORSE, more VIOLENCE and pain for him and more psychosis. Then the last time I tried was in December and I knew and took him off the levoquin in 7 days and I got ambitious thinking well then we can't do abx, then we will do more herbs, rife more regularly, herbs done correctly, meaning on empty stomach, but both samento and bandarol at same time and well it was just too much also....and he never recovered from all that herxing, starting with the levoquin. For the next month (January) I could not get him calmed so I went to see Dr Bhatka and she started testing and has really helped a lot. He is also back on some meds that I used just for 3 months last summer (abilify, neurontin and now klonapin) and it has helped again a lot to calm him, give his body a break and I hope with everything we are doing and biofeedback ( I have my own) that I can again get him off the meds as I did back in late August. I don't know what a huma worm is.

What do you give for pain? My son was taking vicodin while on anti-biotics and for a month after, which Dr B says does not touch this kind of pain and it's addictive but you have to treat the pain so I bought a PEMF (Pulsating Electromagnetic Field) device. It's a Matt, pillow pad, probe, you rent it for a month to give it a try. It does really help with pain - whole body pain and the probe really helps with the specific pains was getting like shooting/stabbing pains in knees, neck and in his lungs. I slowly stopped the vicodin and Dr. B called in ketamine but I have only had to give it to him 3 times in the whole past 3 or 4 weeks since I got it. He could get it 2-3 times a day but I am thankful that he does not need it now. There is a ketamine gel for rubbing on knees, joints, etc....I have it but have not had to use it at all. Ask your Dr about it. It's very low dosage (the syrup is less than 1 ml and could go up to 3 but did not) and it did not even put to sleep when I used it but it stopped the pain. There are reasons they should not be in pain. It taxes the immune system and makes everything, including inflammation worse. Not to mention I just can't leave him in pain like that. Hope this helps and you get relief for your son. Debbie

Are you periodically doing a CD-57 test? Deb
