Guest guest
I thought this would be of interest to most readers of this board: The June 2001 issue (Vol 8, No. 24 - current issue) of " Alternatives " newsletter by Dr. has a very interesting article on the relationship between dental plaque or tartar, insufficient bile, and heart disease and cancer. I can't very well summarize the whole newsletter here, but basically Dr. recommends that anyone with poor fat metabolism (as indicated by a distaste for fatty foods and excessive dental plaque) take bile salts supplements regularly. Poor fat metabolism would generally indicate a lack of bile, and possibly gallstones, which can lead to more serious diseases. Discovery of the link between dental plaque and bile deficiency is evidently not new, but this is the first I've heard of it. See www.drdavidwilliams.com and click on " newsletter " or call Mountain Home Publishing at 1-800-718-8293 to order a copy if you're interested.
