Hello !Are you new to this site? We love new members, and we love to hear that you speak to Pulmonologists about some of the info we print here.YES! Sammy has been on his Physio Vest since Nov 2009. I believethat the Vest and Pulmozyme made our only child a new child. He wasso happy to NOT be coughing anymore! He was on Pulmozyme for nearly a full year before we went to Minnesota to Mayo Clinic to find that Sammy had Bronchiectasis. This after 4 yearsof misdiagnoses. Lots of relief and then the realization thatit's NOT an easy road..He does his Vest 2x daily and the nebulizer HypoSal 2x daily.Sammy has such an easy-going attitude about it all, they saythat God only gives you as much as you can handle, so apparently I cannot handle much! He's just such a

wonderfulchild... Hopefully we'll get good news up in Mn next month!- eSubject: hypotonic salineTo: bronchiectasis Date: Sunday, April 10, 2011, 4:12 PM

i asked my pulmonary doctor about this, he said, it just

makes you cough up more....for some reason , i don't have

trouble coughing up stuff...even with the vest..

i hope they got a vest for your 8 year old
