Guest guest Posted May 7, 2011 Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 I would cut off fluids about 2 hrs before going to bed and see how that works (and maybe start restricting them 2 hrs before that - just to be sure that you should be pretty empty by the time you go to bed). But these are just my ideas - didn't look anything up. How frequent did you go when everything was normal? If it was every 4 hours (the typical person goes every 4-6 hrs), then I would do the above. If it was six hrs, then I would restrict 6 before bed and cut fluids 3 hrs before bed. Like I said, I didn't look anything up, there may actually be a more precise medical recommendation if anyone knows. If you are still having problems, then I would contact your urologist and see what he/she says. If the symptoms are still there even with fluid restriction, then it sounds like a new urodynamic study would be in order to see if it is neurogenic bladder.
