Guest guest
LOVED him but left the practice. He was awesome but the office staff was so unbearable to deal with we left them. Unless they've changed in the past few years, they are unorganized, have been very rude on the phone, horrible about sending test results, and charge for every little thing. We are taking my son to see Dr. Bock, who wrote "Healing the New Childhood Epidemics." Has anyone seen him lately? Can anyone offer any thoughts or share any experiences? Thanks,
Guest guest
Hmmm....do you recall the name of the office personnel you dealt with? I've been speaking with Theresa and so far she has been very responsive and nice. Guest guest
No, but it was who ever used to answer when I called for an appointment. she'd complain to me about the doctor going away so much for speaking engagements and got snippy with me several times. Another time I needed copies of test results and you don't talk to anyone, you leave a voice mail message. they say allow 4 weeks. i called every 3-4 weeks and it ended up taking me 3 months to get test results from them. It shouldn't take 3-4 weeks to get results, it should be something that can be done in a few days time. He would tell me to email him info, I'd email it to his email address which someone apparently reads for him, but he never got the information. So it either wasn't brought to his attention or printed and put in my child's file. It's a shame because I liked him. We were once a patient of Dr. Neubrander too. couldn't stand the arrogance but his office staff was amazing. I always thought if you put Neubrander's staff in Bock's office you'd have an amazing practice Hmmm....do you recall the name of the office personnel you dealt with? Guest guest
We see dr bock, but also see a LLMD. His office is not the best, although it has recently improved as his bother moved to an office down the street. It is no quick to get in and out of his office and he would be smart to retire the lady at the front desk. > > > Subject: Re: Has anyone seen Dr. Bock re... > To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism > Date: Friday, March 9, 2012, 1:27 PM > > > > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > > > > LOVED him but left the practice. Please do it off list as we only use initials when referring to doctors on this board unless its a conference or event announcement or research paper. The Lyme and Autism docs have huge targets on their backs and we don't want to add any fuel to the fire. Guest guest
I'm terribly sorry. You are right that this kind of discussion can be very problematic, and I apologize for not thinking of this. Is it okay if I pose questions using the full names of doctors and then request that people email me directly (not via the group)? I am relatively new to the group and so posted to everyone because I have no idea who might have experience with him. Thanks, Subject: Re: Has anyone seen Dr. Bock re...To: borreliamultipleinfectionsandautism Date: Saturday, March 10, 2012, 1:50 PM ----- Forwarded message -----Date: Sat, Mar 10, 2012 10:11 amSubject: Re: Has anyone seen Dr. Bock re...To: Hey guys just a quick reminder about mentioning the docs names on this board. Guest guest
No problem its totally fine. Just use the docs initials and people can email off list and ask who it is is they aren't sure. You could say something like Dr. KB from Rhineback, NY in this situation.Tami Duncanwww.epiphanyhealingarts.com ----- Reply message -----Date: Sat, Mar 10, 2012 12:10 pmSubject: Has anyone seen Dr. Bock re...To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >I'm terribly sorry.
