Guest guest
to everyone, and especially anyone who has been to a NS the London Health Sciences Hospital in Ontario (I have an appointment next week)... what was your consultation like? What did they ask you? did they examine you physically and if so what did they do? any suggestions on what I should ask the NS? Also, my physician told me they won't operate unless " it " (I assume he meant my spinal cord) is pressing on the cauda equina. Does this make sense to anyone? My doctor thinks that the NS will be surprised to see me walking in (without a lot of difficulty, even though my legs feel somewhat sore and weak sometimes) and even smiling, because I'm not worse off enough for them to operate. I am looking forward to finding out the truth about what criteria they use, in terms of loss of function, to determine when the cord needs to be untethered. thank you, Margaret
