Hi ,

Thank you for your quick response.

I am still curious to knowhow effective the cleanses

are on calcium stones. Anyone know?

Look at this sight for Gold Coin Grass info.

http://www.sensiblehealth.com/

I had the ultrasound due the visit that I scheduled

with the doctor after my Aug. attack. Which country

do you live in? That may be the clue as to how to go

about getting another ultra sound. (which I think is a

worthwhile thing to do) I do know that they often

give ultra sound if you end up in ER with an attack...

Apples - Would you believe that I ate tremendous

amounts of applesauce when I did my first cleanse?!

I was trying to avoid too much fatty food (milk

yoghurt, etc.) and was using it as my liquid in cereal

-- A coincidence or should it be incorporated into

every cleanse for more effective treatment.

Also, prior to the cleanse, I ate a lot of beets for

dinner - which stimulates the gallbladder. So,

possobly the beets stimulated the attack, but maybe

they also helped to clean it out better??

Bowel cleanse - the epsom salts in my cleanse method

also seem to do a great job of eliminating my bowels.

Thanks again for your help.

Suzanne

Hi Suzanne

Thanks for the site for Gold Coin Grass info - I will

check that out. So far I haven't taken anything

besides the Fennel Wild Yam Supreme, but I am

interested in learning about other things.

I live in the U.S. The insurance person at work is

going to check into whether or not they would cover a

followup ultrasound in six months or so - if the

doctor is willing to write the order for it. I am

hoping that there won't BE any additional attacks, but

even if there are I doubt they would do another

ultrasound for that since the first one confirmed the

presence of gallstones. I had even considered finding

out if I could just have one and pay for it, but then

I saw the bill for the one I had - $702! That's a lot

of money for personal curiosity, so I don't think I'll

be doing that!! :)

As for the thing about eating applesauce - I believe

that our bodies 'tell' us what they need but we aren't

always tuned in enough to listen. So it's likely that

on some level you knew that apples would be helpful!

So I don't think it was a coincidence at all! :)

And I doubt that the beets set off the attack - have

you ever read anywhere that they can do that? I've

been eating more of those also since they are so good

for the whole system. I had never heard of any

adverse reactions to them. One time when I was doing

a juice fast I drank a lot of beet juice on one day

and was alarmed at the color of what I eliminated. I

thought I was bleeding internally until I remembered

about juicing the beets!! :)

If I come across anything about the calcium stones I

will pass it along to you.
