Guest guest
Just had that sprayed, for the first time, on the side of my wrist before they put an IV in for the surgery/procedure last week. I blew two IVs within minutes of them being put in so they decided to go for a painful but safe area. I had never heard of the stuff before (it did not help). Kathy Just had my first cortisone injections I just had them in my tailbone and neck, shoulders and jaw. To anyone else who has had tailbone injections, did you lay on your stomach and get sprayed with some kind of alcohol based antiseptic spray all over the place, including your vagina getting some spray or having some of the spray run down into it? all i can say is AAAHHHHH!!! I have vulvar vestibulitis and Oh Man that hurt! ... I think even without the VV, it still would sting! has anyone else had such an experience? Shouldn't the anesthesiologist known that would have burned or stung badly? Sorry, I just have to vent. The actual injections themselves didn't hurt anymore than I would have expected them to. Guest guest
So sorry that happened to you No I never had that issue. Honestly I am petrified of the procedure so I was always knocked out! I once had them done every Saturday (nerve blocks and injection) for 5 weeks (1 each day) and I was OUT every time! Subject: Just had my first cortisone injections To: tetheredspinalcord Date: Monday, April 11, 2011, 7:24 PM  I just had them in my tailbone and neck, shoulders and jaw. Guest guest
thanks , my tailbone feels ok now, maybe even better than ok, but my neck is still sore and stiff in all these places he injected me, I wonder how long this will last. it has been almost 24 hours but I don't see it going away in the next hour or two! and I still cannot fathom how he could spray that alcohol antiseptic on me so close to my groin and not consider the impact it would have if it made contact with the vaginal skin ... good grief! I'm going to make sure that lower area is covered next time!! > > > Subject: Just had my first cortisone injections > To: tetheredspinalcord > Date: Monday, April 11, 2011, 7:24 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > > > I just had them in my tailbone and neck, shoulders and jaw. > > > > To anyone else who has had tailbone injections, did you lay on your stomach and get sprayed with some kind of alcohol based antiseptic spray all over the place, including your vagina getting some spray or having some of the spray run down into it? > > all i can say is AAAHHHHH!!! > > I have vulvar vestibulitis and Oh Man that hurt! ...
