Well, I have had bronchiectasis since childhood or I'd not have been on here--that is a part of my rare syndrome. And, my only intention was to alert folks that the full course of Pulmozyme used for CF can cause too much thinning in other diseases involving bronchiectasis. Good luck all, Judy G.

Re: Re: nebulised drug - Pulmozyme

Judy, I guess I made an assumption that since this is a bronchiectasis forum, that this is the disease to which we were referring. I know nothing about Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (hope I spelled that right!), and what I asked my doctor was the use of pulmozyme in bronchiectasis. I'm sorry if this has caused any confusion.

Hi Joy and all - my first post for ages. I have been following the posts though

all very interesting thank you.

Joy can't you post your 'How to Treat Bronch' info in files? You can upload

from your hard drive as long as the site settings allow you as moderator to do

this - if they don't you should either be able to change the settings so they do

or you can ask the site owner to change the settings to allow you to upload to

files. I am the owner/moderator of a group and upload into fiels all the time

with no probs.

Hope that helps.

Happy Easter everyone.

Liz

I've sent a separate message regarding accessing the "How to Treat Bronch" article pdf which is already up on the main group site. But check your spam folders as well, since Yahoo sometimes dumps my messages there. :))

I've sent it out to a few of you, pass it on to anyone you think it could help...or let me know, I'll send to you private emailjoy h

hi Liz,

I am only 'acting moderator' and unable to contact Di Farnsworth, who set up the group.  When I tried to go to the website I couldn't access 'myself' even though I am definitely a member!  I am somewhat a dummy when it comes to these things, but altho I have password etc written down, nothing would accept me and allow me to log in .....So, if everyone is happy for me to upload it to the group as an email I'll give it a try - although being on dial-up (yeah, stone-age ,I know) am not sure if it would even do it!If I post it to you Liz, could you upload it as you describe - I'll authorise you as moderator.Joy Joy HensbyConsumer RepresentativeStatewide Respiratory Clinical NetworkPatient Safety & Quality Improvement ServiceQueensland Australia -----------endiandra@...07 4038 27700488 179 818
