I just wanted to encourage you with one of the children in our WA group. One

year ago he had the worst IgE/IgG allergy test our docs (who see A LOT of our

recovering kids) had EVER seen...every food on the panel was reactive. The

mother is a pediatrician herself...the child was also non-verbal at this stage.

She has been on Immusist, NDF+, good vits, alfalfa for binders & a diet which

had to be clean/w food rotation. 9 months later her IgE/IgG food panel was

pretty close to normal w/only a few reactory foods...our docs are amazed at his

improvement & the very obvious lab turn arounds that the Immusist & natural

chelation has turned around...they've never seen it turn around so dramatically

w/in such a short period of time.

As stated before, this child is now very verbal & now interacts well looking

more like a peer model w/in his childfind preschool class...this child is

changed from the inside (labs turned around) out.

Just to encourage you not to panic....there is much now available to help our

kids.

I was told that the GF/CF, GAPS, rotation diet, plus IV chelation, plus IVIG

would help with his allergies--and now after four years of treatment his

allergies have gotten way worse. Very frustrated.

Anyone here dealing with this too and have a child on a liquid elemental product

like Neocate or Elecare?

Please reconsider the use of IV chelation!!! You can find a safe protocol for

chelation @ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/ w the 'low

and slow' Cutler method. We, too, have used a rotation diet, gfcfsf and lots of

other frees as well as parts of the gaps and low oxalate program. It has

contributed to better health here. However, the number one intervention for us

has been chelation done safely.

I know exactly what you are going through. My son gets hives from neonate. My son now tolerates turkey, cornish hen, bison, cod, carrots & . green beans, potato, banana, pear, & peaches. I rotate the protein, but that's it. Fortunately he hasn't developed allergies to the others. It is horrible & I wouldn't wish this he'll on anyone. God loves these kids & someday when they go to heaven they will feast @ God's table. Sent from my iPad

I have been told that my son has an anti-folate receptor disorder making the

ingestion of any milk bad for him. He is taking Leucovorin to help with this

issue, have not seen a thing from it though. Used to give him raw goat milk

yogurt but may have been making matters worse. Does camel milk not aggravate

this condition by being casein free?
