Guest guest
I'm desperate, so perhaps I am about to waste a load more money, but I bought this cheap kindle book on offfer about self hypnosis and it occuerd to me that although I have spent 30 years hoping my body would relax one day, perhaps hypnotherapy can bypass my conscious mind and get my muscles to relax. I know that when I can do ralaxtion execises, mindfulness and better quality ACT work will soon follow. So I emailed this local hypnotherapist and she says she can help people with lots of muscular tension like me. Hmmm! but the accupunturists I saw last year said she could help me with my PSSD even though I knew she had never heard of it. 8 sesioins later and £400 worst off I was no different, but my girlfirend really wanted me to do it as she was frustrated that I never seem to get any better. Now she is keen on me to try try hypnotherapy too. Anyway, I might try it. To finally relax would be divine. On you tube I found a couple of nice relaxation hypnotherapy vidoes. In one of them I imagine a purple geeen mist swirling into my body which is to help relax my muscles. As I am not trying to directly cause my muscles to relax I seem to fiind a neutral point where feel a bit smoother. Also, I imagine that my body is hollow and that my skin is made of glass, which is like Open Focus in a way. As the purple and green mist gently swirls around my body there are these occasional flashes of beautiful bright light when the mist hits the edges of the glass and this is really nice. I'm going to have another go now. Anyway, I liked these two relaxation videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dk2157JYfA & feature=related I know I am going to be frowned upon, because this is not acceptance. But I have accepted things all my life and eveything is still just the same and recently I have felt that I cannot take any more of this. But if I have to, I will completely accept this, but maybe I'm stuck like this forever now. Crumbs! Kv
